Announcing the 2026 STRANGECREEK CAMPOUT BATTLE OF THE BANDS! We love this opportunity to find fresh sounds for our festivals, so if you’ve wanted to perform at STRANGECREEK CAMPOUT (May 22-25 at Camp KeeWanee in Greenfield MA), here’s your chance. NOTE: We’ve expanded the battles a little this year with a SEMIFINALS round of live battles before the FINAL battle.

 

Here’s how we’re doing it: To enter your band in the Battle, email [email protected] with the following – and include everything to make sure you’re fully on board! [PLEASE Use subject line: “BATTLE BAND: [your band or performer name as you’d want it listed in the voting]”

(A) LINK(S) to a website and/or social media where we (and voters!) can check out your music. *If you do not include a link to check out your music, you will not be approved for voting* We’ll give a listen and if you seem like a potential fit for our event, you’ll be entered into our Facebook-based survey on the STRANGECREEK CAMPOUT 2026 OFFICIAL EVENT PAGE where people can vote for their favorite contestants.

 

(B) a GRAPHIC (small file size for social media, PLEASE) you’d like us to use for the voting;

 

(C) list your preference in order for the SEMIFINALS battle if you earn a chance to compete. SEMIFINALS battles will be in WORCESTER MA, PAWTUCKET RI, HARTFORD CT and BRATTLEBORO VT. We’ll TRY to place qualifiers in their preferred venue as much as possible.

 

QUALIFYING VOTING:

Online fan voting to qualify for LIVE battles will run through Midnight on ST. PATRICKS DAY (March 17). You can sign up to be included in the poll anytime until then (It may take a day or two to review/add new submissions after voting starts). Your graphic, name, and links to your music will be posted within the poll thread on the StrangeCreek Campout FB Event Page; Fans will VOTE via ‘reacts’ (Like, Love, etc – they all count!) to photos of each competing performer. Fans will be able to vote for more than one performer, but can only vote once for each performer. This process allows everyone to see their vote totals in real time.

 

SEMIFINALS: The SIXTEEN (16) performers who garner the most ‘votes’ will earn a chance to compete in the SEMIFINALS, which will take place at the dates and venues listed below. Four bands will compete at each SEMIFINAL battle. If a qualifying band cannot confirm any of the offered dates, next runners-up will be invited, etc.

– TUES April 14 at ELECTRIC HAZE in Worcester MA

– WEDS April 15 at THE MET in Pawtucket RI

– FRI APRIL 17 at ARCH STREET TAVERN in Hartford CT

– WEDS APRIL 22 at STONE CHURCH in Brattleboro VT

 

FINALS: The four winners of the SEMIFINAL rounds – AND one “WILD CARD” pick of our choice from the Semifinals – will be invited to take part in the FINAL Battle of the Bands at MARIGOLD THEATER in EASTHAMPTON MA on SATURDAY, APRIL 25. IF a band is offered a chance to compete in the finals and can’t confirm, the next highest vote-getter will be offered that opportunity, etc.

The top winner of the 4/25 Final Battle event will earn a CABIN SET at StrangeCreek Campout 2026! Please note: runners-up may be offered other opportunities to perform at the festival, so bring your best!! SEMIFINALS and FINALS battles will be FREE for fans!!! We’ll be looking at crowd reaction and the ‘dance floor jury’ in making our final decision.
