The core of She Sings Dylan is Kate Hubbard (vocals), Jeff Martinson (guitar, vocals), Bill Carbone (drums, vocals), Mark Mercier (key, vocals), and Marty Moroney (bass, vocals). It’s a cast of characters you might see roaming the Northeast with Max Creek or Mystic Dead. But when She Sings Dylan, the fellas get in line and back her up!
The band was started in 2014 by one-time Dylan musical director Rob Stoner as Rob Stoner’s Rolling Thunder Revival, and continued on for several years after Stoner’s departure. After a pandemic-induced hiatus, back ground vocalist Kate Hubbard suggested the group reunite, but from a female perspective. Instantly, the band was fresher than it had ever been.
