Howdy Worms! Just over TWO WEEKS to StrangeCreek 2015! So as we all get into plannin’ and packin’ for the big weekend, we thought we’d mention a couple things…

On a “reality sucks” note… our hearts are heavy in Wormtown today as we learned of the loss of two friends in a terrible van accident, both members of the Alchemystics family, who you may know from our shows (as you may have noticed, the Alchemystics have been playing our festivals for.. well, years.)

Demse

DEMSE ZULLO was one of the driving creative forces of THE ALCHEMYSTICS, responsible for their unique and catchy drum beats and body-moving arrangements as well as masterminding much of their studio projects. He was also a passionate teacher of music and collaborator with many musicians around New England and beyond, a vital part of the local music community in general, and most importantly, a loving father and husband.

budzy

Brian ‘Budzy’ White was the Alchemystics’ road crew/drum tech – but also a DJ and all around true rock & roll soldier, and one of Demse’s best friends from youth.

In our spirit of family helping family, here’s a couple of ways you can send their families some much-needed support in this heavy-hearted time:

More info coming at you next week… take care in the meantime, and above all, because we love you… DRIVE SAFE…
