Hello – Happy May Day All!

We hope everyone is getting ready for StrangeCreek CampOut. The countdown is on – only 24 days until we gather once again at Camp Kee Wanee to start our Summer. Can’t wait to see everyone again, and though it wasn’t very cold – it was still a long Winter.

Just a few reminders…mail order tickets must be postmarked by May 11th. Tickets are still only $95. Week of Worm (May 21-24) tickets are $110.

As you know, space is tight — please carpool! As always, Strangers helping Strangers will be collecting non-perishable food for the local food pantry. Please bring what you can to help.

Some news from Camp KeeWanee: This past off- season presented an additional challenge, as the camp was broken into & all their tools were stolen.

If anyone has extras of any of the following tools please consider bringing them with you:

hammers, mallets, screwdrivers, wrenches, socket set, hand saw, rakes, weed wackers, light gardening tools, chain saws, step ladder, 16 ft extension ladder = any of these items would be greatly appreciated.

Email mark@strangecreekcampout.com if you have anything to contribute.

The Camp also needs a new septic system, subsequently Camp has started a new fund raising campaign. Camp KeeWanee volunteers will be at the front gate upon arrival with a collection bucket to help defray the cost of the new septic system.

The Camp has been generous hosting us year after year, giving back to help keep “shit” running properly is a good idea. The volunteers will be giving out a special edition Wormtown sticker for your donation.

Camp KeeWanee is a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
